THE GENERAL FUND SUPPORTS THE PARK OPERATIONS SIDE OF THINGS, AND WE CAN USE SOME GENERAL FUND MONEY TO PAY FOR PROJECTS. AND THEN FOR B SALES TAX, WHICH IS, COLLECTED ON ANYBODY SHOPPING HERE IN WYLIE THAT ALL ALL THE MONEY THAT WE GET BACK THAT'S SET ASIDE FOR THE FOR B SALES TAX REVENUE CAN BE USED IN ON OUR PROJECTS OR TO SUPPORT THE OPERATIONS, THAT SUPPORT THE AMENITIES AND THEN OUR LAND DEVELOPMENT FEES, THOSE ARE PAID BY DEVELOPERS WHEN THEY WANT TO PUT IN, YOU KNOW, A RESIDENTIAL AREA HERE IN WYLIE. SO WE HAD A PRETTY EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A LOT OF RAIN LAST WEEK, THE WEEK PRIOR AND EVEN STARTING THIS WEEK, THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF WORK HAPPENING OVER AT EAST MEADOW, CONTRACTORS ARE FINISHING UP THE EQUIPMENT ROOM. SO THIS IS THE EQUIPMENT ROOM THAT HAS ALL THE PUMPS, ALL THE FILTRATION, THE UV, THE CHEMICALS, ALL OF THAT. THEY'RE FINISHING ALL OF THAT UP. THIS WEEK, IF YOU GET SOME TIME, YOU MIGHT CHECK THAT OUT. THAT'S PRETTY BIG OPERATION IN THERE, MASONRY COLUMNS TOO. IF YOU TRAVEL THAT WAY, YOU MIGHT YOU MIGHT HAVE SEEN THAT THE MASONRY COLUMNS ON THE ENTRY GATEWAY AND THE PAVILION HAVE GONE UP. THEY ACTUALLY COMPLETED THAT TODAY, AND THERE'S ONE MORE LIGHT POLE THAT WE WERE WAITING ON THEM TO INSTALL, AND IT'S OVER THERE BY THE SPLASH PAD. WE'VE HELD OFF ON THEM INSTALLING THAT ONLY BECAUSE THERE'S A BUNCH OF CONCRETE WORK THAT HAS TO GO THERE. AND I AND A BUNCH OF PIPES GOING THROUGH THERE, AND I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT NOTHING WAS HIT OR DAMAGED WHILE THEY DID THAT ONE. SO THAT'S BEING INSTALLED THIS WEEK AS LONG OR ALONG WITH THE ROOF FOR THE PAVILION. SO ALL OF THOSE THINGS ARE HAPPENING. AND ALSO THE CONTRACTOR, THE CONCRETE CONTRACTOR IS GOING TO BE FORMING UP PRETTY MUCH THE REMAINING CONCRETE THAT WE HAVE TO DO THERE THIS WEEK, THEY'RE HOPING TO POUR LATER THIS WEEK, BUT IF NOT, IT'LL BE SOMETIME EARLY NEXT WEEK. AND THEN AFTER THAT, THE OUTSTANDING ITEMS ARE GOING TO BE BASICALLY JUST INSTALLING THE FEATURES. AND THEN THE LANDSCAPING WORK THAT WE HAVE TO DO THAT PARKS IS DOING. SO IT IS WRAPPING UP PRETTY SOON. SO AND THAT'S AT EAST MEADOW NOW AT COMMUNITY PARK SPLASH PAD, THERE HASN'T BEEN A WHOLE LOT THAT'S GONE ON OVER THERE. I THINK THEY DID POUR THE PIER FOR THE LIGHT POLE THAT'S GOING TO BE AT THAT SPLASH PAD. BUT ALL THE ATTENTION HAS BEEN FOCUSED AT EAST MEADOW. NOW, WE DID GET WORD THAT THE NEW RESTROOM FACILITY FOR COMMUNITY PARK IS GOING TO BE GETTING DELIVERED. THE WEEK OF THE 23RD. SO THAT WHOLE WEEK IT'LL BE VERY RESTROOM FOCUSED. GETTING THAT. AND AGAIN, THAT WAS A BIG OPERATION, SEEING THE ONE GOING AT EAST MEADOW, IT WAS A FULL WEEK OF PLUMBING AND, CRANES AND JUST BIG EQUIPMENT. SO THAT'S GOING TO BE THE FOCUS THAT WEEK. AND THEN AFTER THAT, IT'S A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF INSTALLING ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND EVERYTHING. AND WE'VE GOT WE STILL GOT QUITE A BIT OF CONCRETE WORK TO DO THERE, AS [00:45:04] WELL AS A SHADE STRUCTURE THAT'S GOING TO GO UP ON ON THAT ONE. SO THERE'S STILL QUITE A BIT OF WORK AT COMMUNITY, BUT YOU'LL START SEEING A LOT MORE HAPPENING TOWARDS THE END OF THIS MONTH OVER THERE. WHILE WE'RE ON THE TOPIC OF COMMUNITY PARK, THERE WAS SOME, EQUIPMENT REMOVED LAST WEEK. IS THAT TRUE? AND IF YOU KNOW ABOUT IT, WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE SWING SET EXACTLY? THE PLAYGROUND. SO WHENEVER, SO WE HAD NEW EQUIPMENT PUT IN THE PLAYGROUND AND THEN WE WERE APPROVED TO DO THE PORT AND PLACE SURFACING. WELL, THE SOME OF THE NEWER EQUIPMENT WAS DAMAGED DURING THE PORT AND PLACE SURFACING INSTALLATION. AND WHAT YOU'RE SEEING RIGHT NOW IS THAT EQUIPMENT JUST BEING REPLACED BY THE BY THE PLAYGROUND VENDOR THAT WE SELECTED. SO THAT SHOULD BE GETTING WRAPPED UP TOWARDS THE END OF THIS WEEK. UNDERSTOOD. BUT COUNCIL DID JUST APPROVE, SOME PLANS FOR US TO START WORKING ON SOME ENGINEERING PLANS FOR PARKING AT FOUNDERS COMMUNITY AND A COUPLE OF OTHER SITES, BUT WE ARE GOING TO BE MEETING WITH SOME ENGINEERS. YOU KNOW, I GUESS AFTER OCTOBER 1ST, TO START LOOKING AT DESIGNING THAT PORTION OVER THERE OF PARKING.
