THE RESERVOIRS THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE WATER RATS FOR OR ALL CORPS OF ENGINEERS RESERVOIR, SO THIS IS THE FIRST ONE THAT WILL ACTUALLY MANAGE AS A DISTRICT AND THAT'S OPENED UP SOME INTERESTING CHALLENGES, TO SAY THE LEAST. WE KNOW THERE ARE SOME ISSUES WITH FLOODING IN THE HISTORIC DOWNTOWN AREA AND WE WERE ASKED TO TAKE A LOOK AT HOW WE CAN RELIEVE SOME OF THAT FLOODING AND THEN ALSO LOOK AT HOW WE CAN MITIGATE THE IMPACT SINCE THERE'S ALREADY FLOODING, THEN AS THE AREA REDEVELOPED, AND WE HAVE AN INCREASE IN RUNOFF, HOW DO WE ACCOUNT FOR THAT AS WELL? TO MAKE SURE THAT WE CAN, UH ALLOW THAT DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT ADVERSELY IMPACTING ANYONE DOWNSTREAM. SO WE'VE USED THAT PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT'S KIND OF COMMON FOR THIS TYPE OF THING. UM FUTURE DEVELOPMENT, COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT THAT'S GOING TO BE GOING IN IN THAT. ABOUT 13 ACRE, UNDEVELOPED LAND THAT'S LOCATED TO THE EAST. SIMILARLY TO THE SOUTH. UM PROPERTIES DOWNSTREAM OF THE DOWNTOWN AREA. SO JUST TO HIGHLIGHT HERE, THE COLORING AND BLUE. THOSE ARE EXISTING BUILDINGS. THAT'S IMPERVIOUS AREA. WE DON'T GET ANY INFILTRATION IN THOSE IN THOSE AREAS AS BECAUSE THEY'RE COVERED BY BUILDINGS SIMILARLY, WITH A BLACK THAT SHOWS, UM PAVEMENT STREETS, SIDEWALKS, PARKING LOTS. WE DON'T GET ANY INFILTRATION IN THOSE AREAS EITHER. THESE OTHER TWO LOCATIONS WERE ALSO LOCATIONS WHERE WE WE'RE KEEPING TRACK ALSO TO DETERMINE THE VOLUME THAT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO BE MITIGATED. UM FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREA WEST OF THOSE LOCATIONS AND NOT INCLUDING MEDICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THAT UNDEVELOPED PROPERTY TO THE EAST. SO FOR THIS. SOUTH POLAR DISCHARGE POINT AGAIN, UH, DON'T SEE A LOT OF INCREASES. WE DO SEE SOME INCREASES IN THIS CHARGES, BUT NOT VERY MUCH THE REASON AGAIN FOR THAT. I WANT TO REITERATE ITS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE CAPACITY. UM, THE MORE YOU ADD TO THIS AREA THAT THE IMPACT THAT YOU'RE GOING TO SEE IS IN, UH IN, UH, SURFACE. UM ATTENTION RECURRENT REQUIREMENTS WE WOULD HAVE FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREA WEST OF THOSE CROSS SECTIONS. AH WE DETERMINED WE WOULD NEED 3.1 ACRE FEET OF STORAGE JUST TO MITIGATE THE DOWNTOWN AREA. THE THREE ACRE FEET THAT YOU SEE THERE THAT IS SIMULATED AS ABOVEGROUND STORAGE, AND THAT'S BECAUSE IN CONVERSATIONS WITH THE AND THAT THE DEVELOPMENT THAT'S ONGOING FOR THAT THEY'RE ANTICIPATING HAVING A ATTENTION AND THERE WILL BE A DETAINEE THEIR OWN. EXCESS RUNOFF IN THAT AREA, AND WE JUST FROM OUR ESTIMATES AND ARE MODELING. WE THINK THAT THE VOLUME THAT THEY WOULD BE STORING WOULD BE ABOUT THREE ACRE FEET. THIS CHURCH POINT ESSENTIALLY, THAT WE'RE CALLING THE WEST CHURCH POINT AND THIS IS PRIMARILY TO MITIGATE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF A PARKING LOT ALONG THAT RAILWAY, SO THIS WOULD BE COMBINED UNDERGROUND SURFACE WITH, YOU KNOW, SOME DEPTH ALLOWED WITHIN THAT PARKING LOT. ANOTHER THING I WANT TO POINT OUT. I KNOW. THREE ACRE FEET, UM MAYBE DIFFICULT TO VISUALIZE. BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT IN TERMS OF GALLONS THREE FEATURES ABOUT ONE MILLION GALLONS OF WATER, SO IT'S QUITE A BIT OF DETENTION THAT WE'RE PROVIDING HERE. SO COST ESTIMATE FOR THIS FIRST OPTION, WHICH INCLUDES YOU KNOW, THREE UNDERGROUND ATTENTION SYSTEMS. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE COST OF THAT ABOVE GROUND, THREE ACRE FOOT. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS OF NOTE THAT I WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT ARE SOME GUTTER IMPROVEMENTS, AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE OTHER COSTS FOR THESE WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF PREVIOUSLY PRESENTED. UM BUT THEY'RE IMPORTANT TO NOTE. I UNDERSTAND THERE'S OTHER ONGOING STREET RECONSTRUCTION EFFORTS. UM, SO I BELIEVE THIS WOULD BE PART OF THAT. BUT UM AND THEN, AS WE WERE LOOKING AT THE EXISTING CONDITIONS, WE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE SOME GUTTER LINES THAT COULD BENEFIT FROM SOME IMPROVEMENTS IN IN THE SLOPE IN ORDER TO ALLOW FOR POSITIVE DRAINAGE IN PARTICULAR, DON'T HAVE A CONSISTENCY OPEN, ALLOW WATER TO CONTINUE TO POND IN THOSE AREAS A LOT LONGER THAN WE WOULD WANT. UM IN ADDITION TO THAT, YOU'LL SEE THE ARROWS IN BLUE AT IN THESE THREE INTERSECTIONS. THOSE SHOWS THE DIRECTION OF FLOW UNDER EXISTING CONDITIONS, SO A LOT OF THESE AREAS DRAINING SOUTH UM, AS WE HAD SHOWED IT WHEN WE SHOWED THE DRAINAGE AREAS, BRINGING DOWN TO BALLARD STREET TRAINING SOUTH, BUT SINCE THE BATTERY SYSTEM IS SO OVERWHELMED WITH WATER, WE THINK IT'S UH WHY IS TO DIVERT SOME OF THAT WATER TO THE EAST BECAUSE THERE IS MORE SPACE THERE TO ALLOW FOR, UH, BETTER CONTROL OF THAT EXCESS BANANA. SO THIS IS JUST A COMPARISON OF YOU KNOW THE FULLY DEVELOPED AS CHARGES COMPARED TO THE RESULTS THAT WE SEE FROM A PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS AS YOU CAN SEE, FULLY DEVELOPED OR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT WAS GOING TO GET US 372 CFS OR A SECOND, LEAVING THE SITE TO THAT NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AREA [01:10:05] AFTER IMPLEMENTING THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS THAT I JUST DISCUSSED. THERE WERE ALSO DEMONSTRATING THAT THAT 3.1 ACRE FOOT UNDERGROUND DETENTION SYSTEM, UM AT THAT PARKING LOT ON MARBLING FIRST IS ABLE TO MITIGATE. THE EXCESS RUNOFF THAT WAS DRAINING TO THE EAST. SO, UH, WE WOULD NOT BE IMPACTING THAT FUTURE DEVELOPMENT THAT IS KIND TO OCCUR AT THAT PARTICULAR LOCATION. MOVING ON TO SOUTH OF THIS CHURCH POINT. WE HAVE SOME REDUCTIONS HERE AS WELL. BUT AGAIN AT THIS AREA THAT THE MAIN THING THAT YOU CAN OBSERVE IS A REDUCTION IN THE INUNDATION EXTENT. SO YOU DON'T SEE WE THEATER AVERAGE ACTION IN DEPTH BUT ALSO AN EXTENT THIS IS WHERE YOU'LL SEE THE MORE VISUALLY IMPLANT VIEW WHAT THAT WOULD LOOK LIKE WHAT THAT REDUCTION WOULD LOOK LIKE. UM WE SAW A LOT OF FUNDING IN THAT PARTICULAR INTERSECTION. WE SAW QUITE A BIT OF IMPROVEMENT THERE AND AGAIN.
