REGULAR AGENDA Consider, and act upon, the appointment of a board member to the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) Board to fill an expired term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018. (C. Ehrlich, City Secretary) Executive Summary The Board of Directors of the North Texas Municipal Water District is a policy making body similar in nature to the City Council. The Board is responsible to both the State of Texas and to the member Cities for assuring that NTMWD operations occur in accordance with state and federal law, in alignment with NTMWD policy, and in the best interests of the Cities receiving services.
Recess into Closed Session in compliance with Section 551.001, et.seq. Texas Government Code, to wit: §§Sec. 551.072. DELIBERATION REGARDING REAL PROPERTY; CLOSED MEETING.
